Alyce’s Basic Greenie (Green Smoothie)

It’s a nourishing and hydrating meal in a glass!

This creamy and delicious shake is rich in B Vitamins, Magnesium, Vitamin C, Omega Fatty Acids, and Fiber. Switch up the spinach for any other leafy green vegetable.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 medium to large banana
  • 1-cup cantaloupe chunks, or one mandarin, or kiwi
  • 3 – 4 cups packed spinach
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 cup ground flax meal

Optional Additions:

  • * Ginger for warmth and spice in winter
  • * Maca for energy and immune boost
  • * Bee pollen for extra energy and during allergy season
  • * 2 to 3 mini spoons of Stevia to sweeten

Place ingredients in a blender and puree smooth. Adjust sweetness to taste and enjoy!
